Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers ready to take on the challenge of being a Team Parent.
It takes a lot of coordination and effort to organize a league with over 300 players. The Team Parent is an essential part to our organization running smoothly and giving our children the best Little League experience possible. We want our Managers and Coaches out on the field with the players. It is the role of the Team Parent to alleviate some of our Managers and Coaches off-the-field responsibilities.
What can the Team Parent help with?
Prepare Player Roster Names/phone numbers of players and parents
Email distribution list of all parents
Assist in Assigning Volunteers (Scorekeepers, Dug out worker, etc)
Prepare snack schedule for your team (if desired)
Help with jersey/hat distribution and sizing
Assemble your team for Opening Day, Pictures, and Closing Day
Keep parents current on league activities, game schedule changes, ect
Take your team's views to Team Manager or appropriate board members
Inform your Parents of Potential Costs (if desired) Banner Lettering for shirts and hats Uniform accessories (i.e. belts, ¾ sleeve undershirt, socks, visors)
Trophies End of season party and Manager / Coach appreciation gifts
